Life brings challenges at every stage—and sometimes those challenges feel overwhelming. Whether you’re:

  • An adolescent navigating identity and belonging

  • A young adult facing new pressures and expectations

  • A parent adjusting to the responsibilities of family life

  • A middle-aged adult searching for deeper fulfillment

  • Or an older adult reflecting on life’s lessons while preparing for retirement

You don’t have to face these transitions alone.

SERVICES

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides a safe space for self-reflection, healing, and personal growth. It helps clients explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing coping strategies for life’s challenges. Through this process, individuals gain deeper self-awareness and tools to create lasting change.

Family Therapy

Family therapy helps relatives improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their relationships. It focuses on understanding family dynamics and how each member’s behavior affects the whole system. By working together, families can build healthier patterns of support, trust, and resilience.

Professional & Educational Workshops

We bring trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness workshops to corporations and schools, helping teams and students create mindful, supportive environments where stress is reduced, focus is sharpened, and well-being thrives.

Mental health has been a defining awareness in my life since childhood. Growing up with a parent living with a mental health disorder challenged me to see firsthand how deeply these conditions impact not only the individual, but the entire family system. Rather than discouraging me, these experiences ignited a passion to look deeper—into resilience, healing, and the urgent need for accessible, compassionate mental health support. They became the driving force behind my pursuit of higher education and my career in mental wellness.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Rutgers University–Camden in 2004 and my Master’s in Social Work in 2018. In 2024, I expanded my practice through yoga training at the Sakala School of Integrative Studies, becoming nationally certified in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey, I bring over 24 years of experience working with at-risk youth and families, and more than 4 years of direct clinical practice supporting individuals through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I specialize in trauma-informed, body-centered care that integrates traditional psychotherapy with trauma-informed yoga to promote deep healing and nervous system regulation. My approach is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and the belief that healing is possible for everyone—regardless of history or circumstance.

In 2019, I founded Take Control Mental Health Solutions (TCMHS), a holistic wellness system designed to help individuals balance their mental, physical, and spiritual health daily. Through trauma-informed mindfulness and meditation workshops, guided journals, yoga practices, positive affirmation tools, virtual therapy, and group sessions, TCMHS empowers people to embrace self-love, emotional healing, and sustainable wellness.

Born out of the challenges witnessed during the COVID-19 pandemic, TCMHS was created to provide accessible, judgment-free resources that anyone can use at home or in the community.

My mission is to guide individuals and organizations toward healthier, happier, and more mindful lives—transforming environments into spaces of balance, focus, and growth.
